Part of the 2016 Republican National Convention opening ceremonies included a group-prayer to kick things off. The pastor who performed the prayer, was, well, pretty “passionate” about the presumptive (soon to be official) GOP nominee, DJ Trump. I could say more, but y’all should just get a load of this shit:
Yeah… I might have been under-selling / under-emphasizing Pastor Mark Burns’ euphemism for Donald Trump as simply “passionate”. Marky Mark actually said the following words: “Lord, we’re so thankful for the life of Donald Trump”. I mean, I’m sure there are many people out there that love DonDon and are thankful that he is alive, whether it be related to his work in the private sector or his presidential campaign. But Jesus… to think that those words would be spoken by a pastor at the GOP Convention is just hilariously ironic and insane.
Also, it’s fair to say that Pastor Marky Mark went a bit overboard with the “our enemy is not other Republicans – but is Hillary Clinton” is a bit overboard. Then again, stooping down to low-blows like that is right up Hillary Clinton’s alley.
Case in point:
At this rate, I wouldn’t be surprised if Pastor Marky Mark performs an exorcism on some GOP delegates in an effort to sway them onto the Trump Train.
