As I’m sure you’ve noticed (and if you haven’t, you will soon enough), Barack Obama is once again thrusting himself into the national spotlight. As a lame duck POTUS with only half a year remaining on the job, Obama is aiming to pontificate his views and opinions in order to steer the direction of national poli-eco-socio conversations.
This is pretty revelatory, as it indicates Barry isn’t ready for his political power/persuasion to come to an end. Not only that, but Obama is not ready for his “legacy”, as forced/shallow/empty as it might be, to be vanquished within a year by a Republican POTUS. I mean, it’s one thing to go on the Obama Legacy Tour, which entails appearing on every late night show and desperately trying to reference current pop culture phenomenons in an effort to appear “hip” (basically Obama’s entire presidency, for that matter). It’s another thing to actively campaign against another presidential candidates and overtly mock a potential successor.
Which brings us to yesterday. Barry Obama made public speaking appearances yesterday in Indiana to both tout the “success” of his economic policy and to chime-in on the 2016 election cycle. Obama trotted out empty, misleading, and inaccurate claims regarding the US economy’s strength under his leadership, as he has consistently attempted to do since 2012 (which we will address and dismantle later this week)?
Along with the financial propaganda he attempted to spew, Obama sought to diminish the seriousness and quality of a presidential candidate that Donald Trump is. In an effort to take a solid dig at DonDon, Obama ultimately stumbled upon his words, sounded nervous and uncertain, and failed to deliver the blow to The Donald that he probably hoped.
Get a load of this shit:
The transcript to the moment in which Obama trips up completely, which is likely due to the fact that he’s full of shit (as he has racially and socially divided the country more than any other US POTUS), reads as follows.
“If we turn against each other based on division of race or religion…If-if-if-if-if-if-if-if-if-if-if we fall for, you know, a bunch of okie-doke, just because, you know it-it-it. You know, it-it-it-it-it-it sounds funny or the tweets are provocative”
Another subtle reminder that a main reason Obama was elected in the first place was an extraordinary ability to produce persuasive rhetoric while reading on a TelePrompTer or from a rehearsed speech. When it’s time to speak off-the-cuff, Obama just sounds like another inexperienced, Junior Senator.
